Another fun 1on1.
Ok, here was the background story. Marcos is not in the Alliance, for some reason.. although we tried to put him in... He is pretty good. Newayz, usually I play Quake ctfbot with him or something, but his network card was *stepped* on by a dumb schmuck. So Quake was gonna be too laggy over a serial cable. Too bad I forgot to take a screenshot... sigh....
We decided to play a 1on1 war2 game.. The scenario was Friends.pud, Me Human, him ORcish. I started on the left side, he was on top. Well. Fog on, resources at high. Everything cool, smooth, 5 footmen of mine rush him. Marcos was prepared for me, and even though I killed like 4 peons, he wrecked my forces and sent a counterattack. Yeh, against my wallin cannon tower, hehe. He got about 2 of my peasants. Then he stopped attacking, and started to use his weird towering attack tactics on me.
Here was the fun part, he decided to send his many many ogres and grunts to my base, and they RAN PAST my 3 squads of patrolling knights for some reason, he pincer attacked me from the side and the top, And slaughtered like all but 2 of my peasants, but I kicked him OUT of my base. And I decided to demo squad him. And I killed his weird ass tower formations in like a demo blast. Then I sent my invisible mage up to the top of his base (where there was a hole, and NO defenses) and .... KilleD aLL his peons...!!! woo hoo! revenge is sweet..
I think the mages were the things that killed him, that and the fact that he had no more gold left. Then I ran into his base and totally destroyed it.. He had no wallin cannons, just a couple of guard towers with no protection (well, accordiing to him, he was supposed to have like a squad of ogres protecting, but those were all dead, since I *demo-ed* his barracks, and ogre mound... Well, he basically died then. And I hunted down the remains of his dudes, and won. He had like a razing. and more units than me or something. I guess he doesn't really know how to use them well....
